AIDS: Apparently fleas can be bought in labeled boxes/envelopes? :D

CalifornianCuller: No better way to kick off the weekend than to screw around in a fluffy shelter!

Anonymous1: I'm surprised the dickish customer hasn't been caught yet.

Anonymous2: seriously, fuck you, Cage.

Supposed to be a match box but I can't draw for shit

Micron: I've heard that raising fleas is quite a challenge but a worthwhile endeavor.

FluffiesAreFood: Huge waste of food and fur though.

Dirtbiker989: @Micron: Fleas are an endeavor, but a rewarding one. I'd recommend working your way up to see if you can handle the commitment. Start off with smaller things like a puppy or a hedgehog or a kid. You know, baby steps.

Micron: @Dirtbiker989: I spent a great deal of time raising blood-feeding arthropods. I think I'm ready for fleas. I'll get the first few at a flea market, then, once I have enough, I'll start a flea circus. And then get plague.

Anonymous6: Never knew having fleas called for euthanasia.
Or is shaving them just that hard?
- Reply
NumAnon: First the fleas feed on the shitrat, then the incinerator gets dinnerrr!

RevMe: @Anonymous: I think it's more that fluffies are so plentiful, it's not worth it in some shelters?
- Reply
Anonymous7: @RevMe: Another argument for harvesting them for meat and fur --- serves to cull & control.

FluffiesAreFood: @WetFluff: Are you sure?

@NumAnon: Fleas understand! Fluffs are nums!

RQ: If had a pet shop and found that one of my stock pets got fleas, I'd freak out. That's a serious problem.

Anonymous9: @Anonymous: It is a toy it is meant for disposal

dust_collector: If unit 731 could drop porcelain bombs with plague-infested fleas on civilians in 1930/40s, then buying fleas in a matchbox eighty years later doesn't seem that strange.

Anonymous10: I'd be surprised if a fluffy's bite was actually strong enough to leave bite marks on it's own flesh, even considering shit broken by all.
- Reply
Anonymous11: Those poor fleas got a nasty case of fluffies. Sadly euthanasia is the only course of action for such a horrific fluffy infestation.

RIP in peaces sweet fleas.

Anonymous12: @Anonymous: Twist ending, it's the shelter manager being the dickish customer!

PeppermintParchment: Is there really a market for pre-boxed fleas? Fleas are literally the only insect I kill on sight. I'll just swipe mosquitoes away,I don't like to crush them, but I kill fleas. I had the hardest time keeping fleas off of my puppy,so I have a hatred for them.

Soulvei: My entire hedgehog farm contracted mites because a stud I bought was a carrier. It was very expensive to take 20 hedgehogs to the fucking vet so I can definitely understand a shelter being like "psh. Fuck that noise."

Micron: @PeppermintParchment: I've met a few people who used to breed fleas. They are mostly only used for very specific applications. The hard part is that they require living food. That, and they jump.

Anonymous13: These are all so good. This is actual, quality abuse that you rarely see on the booru anymore.

Anonymous14: I'm liking this series more and more.

Anonymous15(6): @Anonymous: Never knew fleas could live off toys.
