Fluffus: More comic. More hoomins. Sorrier hoofsies.

Anonymous2: As a breeder I would just break the hips of misconducting fluffies. So they all have a constant reminder on what happens if you don‘t play nice.

Anonymous3: It's too bad the offending stallion wasn't taken to the work bench to have a few nails pounded into it's back and hooves

FoalOut4: After telling the foal this story, the foal sturves to death anyway.

Deathcap: You know what?

This is some damn good sadbox, unless the resolution will somehow save the foal. From the second I saw "dead mummah" in the tags for the second part, I knew this little thing was gonna die regardless of what happens. I mean, it's an alicorn foal with the only other alicorn around being male, no way they're gonna find milk. I can't think of any outcome where the foal lives.

Anonymous4: @Deathcap: They could maybe run into a mare that recently gave birth and have it feed the babbeh

Zephirot: That moment when there is a part of you that loves the demented, sick, psychotic abuse/death of fluffies yet every once and a grey while a cute one comes along and you want to wish the best for the little bastard.

Waaaghlord: Afterall alicorns are smarter and tougher he could find a way and the foal could survive longer as other foals in this situation.
Great story and art so far, though something needs to happen rather quick, Star know de way Star show de way.

Great_White_Nope: That ted stallion needs a horn

Anonymous5: What nice, kind people.

FluffiesAreFood: I would have skinned and butchered the stallions alive for that.
- Reply
Anonymous6(2): As a breeder I‘d keep stallions on a literal short leash.
And so the stallions don‘t give bad special and unautharized huggies: all mares get a rape-aXe.

Manchurro: Dope, Im A faggot for alicorns

DEETZ: why is this still so cute?

FluffiesAreFood: @Anonymous: Easier to geld most of them (and sell the "fluffy oysters") and keep only the ones with the best personalities for breeding.

Anonymous7: With alicorns being so expensive he shoulda killed some of the cheap colts as a warning to the rest

Deliverance: Incredible art and colours!

Anonymous8: Beautiful. Fantastic style and an interesting story - I’m hooked

UACMarine: So good. It's nice to see humans who aren't complete psychopaths in fluffy stories. I just hope that the alicorn babbeh will find some milk or some sort of nutritious paste to stave off starvation until he can eat solid nummies so this story can continue.

Anonymous12(2): @FluffiesareFood; but the fun : (. Also you could easily test stallion personality that way since the bad ones will have shredded dicks.

Fluffus: @Deathcap: Thanks, Deathcap. This thing is partly inspired by your ‘Family Feuds’ story : )

RQ: Nice job on this!

I still wonder, though, why anyone would want anything to do with talking creatures who are known to almost always rape and kill each other? "Not again" he says? Why tolerate these fucking gremlins from hell at all?
- Reply
Fluffus: @RQ: Thanks ^^

In my head canon most fluffies are OK pets, if high maintenance (on account of broken ass, prototype genetics) as long as they've had a decent upbringing w/o major trauma.

Cannibals, foal rapists, unmitigated hell gremlins and über smarties are aberrations, though they exist.

But society isn't too kind on "shit rats" and their grey area legal and ethical standing leave them exposed to all kinds of horror. Especially over breeding, destructive and invasive ferals do little to help the perception of fluffies as anything but disposable pests.

Well raised, well cared for fluffies like Tarquin in your 3 parter:

still can suffer shit fates. The, "It's legally only a toy, so we're not responsible for damages and it's not even a real animal anyway," defence is ironclad.

Still, even in the real world people cling to weird things: mice, guinea pigs and hamsters are horrid pets in my experience. Frickin' baby hamsters will eat their own, injured siblings alive! Yet they're "cute", so... it's a great kid's pet. We have purse dogs. Persian cats that can barely breathe and look like their faces have been deliberately flattened with a hammer keep winning blue ribbons at cat breeder conventions. And there are always people who are suckers for a hopeless case, and would get a fluffy and give it their best to care for it, I think.

Fluffus: @RQ: Perhaps these brave, action oriented colts just wanted to defeat the monster and protect good fluffies everywhere. ; )
After all, alicorns must die according to their core, programmed instincts.

fluffyhater88: RED BARRON? O_O

- Reply
Linchpin: I wonder how star loses his wings?
- Reply
Fluffus: @fluffyhater88: Ha ha, the worst part is, I was coloring the lead smackdown-y colt, and I made him red (seemed most agressive) and then I honestly sat around with my markers trying to decide on a mane color. Picked up 'amethyst'. Looked about right. Then when I went back and reviewed I realized those are Red Baron's colors! Heh. Either GWN just found the essential bad ass stallion coloration, or I was subconsciously in love with GWN's colors and aped them. Either way, I like the result : )

Feyascia: You'll give the fluffies an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you. They will stumble, they will fall. But in time, they will join you in the sun.

Soulvei: This is really sweet. Can't wait for more :)

Fluffus: @Feyascia: Hee, I thought of it as the "Uncle Ben" moment, but this is better : )

Disintegral: As per usual, the art is superb. It really reminds me of old comic strips. And the storytelling is looking a bit more structured than what you'd normally see here, which is a nice touch. I hope you'll stick around.

I've never been too big on the whole "alicorns are super-special" thing, since it can be easy for that to lead to holier-than-thou Mary Sue characters, but I get the feeling you might not go that route.

@RQ: A lot of people headcanon alicorn phobia as something that will turn all but the most strictly disciplined fluffies into murderous killing machines, so long as the "munstah" is still in sight. So I doubt that the way that they were treating Star is normal for them when alicorns aren't around.

@Fluffus: Okay, that's it. I'm headcanoning that red fluffy as the Baron, and chalking up the lack of a horn to an art oversight.
- Reply
silord: Dawww, the huggbox in me is happy, but the abusive side of me is disappointed in the breeder just a bit.

Fluffus: @Disintegral: Thank you for taking the time to think about this page : )
I'm penciling the next page now, so hopefully I'll be around a while longer!
